MY NEW ATTITUDE...

Nowadys my ideas have undergone a roller coaster style revolution and I have changed a lot owing to the multitude of books i read and the thoughts that crowd my mind. People may call it ATTITUDE... my mom calls it "adolescent mindset" and others feel it is PEER PRESSURE.

But I am feeling completely new... like that lady says in TITANIC "YOU SHINE UP LIKE A NEW PENNY" . But I've got to wait a lot to see whether this penny is worth....

The 3 mistakes in my life

I had a great oppurtunity to read " the three mistakes of my life" by chetan Bhagat. this story is about three guys Govind, Ish and Omi who start a cricket shop to find a living. Starting from religious politics to ego problems and natural disasters everything stand in their way to prosperity. The story is a very good and fast paced read indeed. I would say it is about a serious and dark way narrated in a fantastic style. the way indian boys think about indian girls is beautifully voiced via govind. I hate maths....i am not good at maths either....but the hero here is a maths genius :-( WHAT TO DO?

Well I love the way the author has balanced his views between religious politics and youth mindset.......a very good move indeed. A good cricket story indeed.....

I won't say what are all the three mistakes.........but the mistakes chosen are perfect (enough to regret a person for a lifetime)

The story is verrry verrrrrry fast paced and interesting. Enough to grip a person who reads it.

A NICE INDIAN FLAVORED NOVEL

Sweethearts for sale!

Love is blind - so goes a saying. But in the real practice, this blindness switchess more to a madness, self mockery and dependence.

Everyone can speak the language of love. But only a few can understand that.

Feb - 14 has now become more of a ritual than a real day for love when you meet your loved ones and reinforce your love and make them feel secure. People exchange gifts, talk over the phone and have food together. But the magic of love....? (sigh)

As far as I have seen, youngsters (especially collegietes), see it as a prestige issue to have a lover.....especially when it comes to having a pleasant looking person as their future lifepartners. Those who are not loved are being looked down upon as either lacking in Character / External beauty. Love cannot be forced.

I believe love is more about that internal beauty and that feeling of security (hum hai na!) rather than all-night phone calls and romantic messages. It is more about always having a person to rely on rather than spending all your money to get his phone recharged. It is more about patiently solving the troubles of the fight yesterday than cutting your finger in desperate sadnedd after a fight. It is more about "I will be for you always" rather than "I will die for you". It is more about understanding than emotional idiocy. It is more about practical mutual help than dramatic dialogues. It is more about being independent and also feeling confident that someone is there when we slip, rather than being under love-chained domination. It is more about holding your partner's hands when you walk on your path to success rather than following their path. It is more about moral support than physical "being-around". It is more about being yourslef with him/her rather than a valentine's day special treat. It is more about a hand that wipes off your tears rather than the one which brings you a flower. It is more about mutual confidence than doubt in the name of possessiveness. It is when your lover sends you out for a work with your friend who is a boy and not when he drops out an important work and accompanies you just because he doubts you. It is when you allow your lover to wear faded jeans just because he loves it eventhough you loathe jeans. It is when your lover understands when you have an exam and not fights when you don't return a call.

It is when he remains silent when you yell at the top of your voice eventhough it was you who was wrong. It is a feeling when you never feel lonely, unloved or deserted. There is someone out there thinking about your happiness. You feel better because you pray for the success of someone else. Finally, love is more about finding out that you were complete only after him/her than your entire life is for him/her.And, love is definitely not in those stupid cards and costly designer dress gifts.........it is in that feeling of well-being, security and Being loved. Love which comes when we are ourselves survives for a longer time than the one which springs when we act and pretend. A good lover is our reflection. A good love springs from deeper understanding and sensibility. Love has to be exchanged with love and care.

Ofcourse, sweethearts are never for sale.

a video

this is my maiden attempt to make a video. look...........
these photos are from my vikatan works.............

ANJATHEY

One of the best thrillers I've ever seen.

It is not everytime the director gets his second attempt right. This is one of such rare situations. i loved the story, the acting and the dialogue. Only two songs out of the three stand out. And a big wow and cheers for that cute (and menacing) prassanna as DAYA. He rocked in the movie with his evil looks and wig! He isss sssssssoooo sweet (come on this is not my maiden attempt to look like one of the girls from generation "x". i really mean it!)
well, the scores..............90%
*think 92 is the maximum i ever gave..2 marks go for the violence*
